Synthesized receivers allow you to choose any of the 50 channels (11 - 60) available in the 72MHz FM RC Air Band - NO CRYSTAL NEEDED! This allows you to choose any available channel if you also have a synthesized transmitter. You can also use the RP6D1 with any standard crystal type transmitter.
Setting the RP6D1 receiver to your desired channel is as simple as 1 2 3:
1. Turn your transmitter on and be sure it's set to PPM and your desired channel.
2. Position the receiver close to the transmitter, and provide power to the receiver.
3. After you see the LED of the receiver flash two times, press and hold the button on the receiver for two seconds, then release and press the button again. The LED will flash for a short time, and then stop flashing, indicating that the receiver is ready to use.
The Corona RP6D1 receiver is a good choice for electric park flyers, and for large glow and electric models. The 'Auto Shift' feature allows it to be used with both positive shift and negative shift transmitters, including Futaba, Hitec, JR, and Airtronics. The end-pin design of this receiver makes it easy to connect most servos and electronic speed controls available.
