can be mounted behind a firewall, and will fit on many motor mounts designed for 28mm diameter motors. The screw holes on the base of the motor are tapped for 3mm screws, and are spaced 16mm and 19mm across the center of the motor. We suggest the use of the 19mm spacing only, in order to avoid inadvertent screw contact with the windings of the motor, which are built up fairly close to the mount casing of the motor.
We recommend purchasing a 3.17mm Prop Adapter for mounting props on the Power Up 450 Jet.
Propeller test data when using a 3-cell Lipo battery:
EMP 6x3E: 46 ounces of thrust at 44 amps
EMP 6x4E: 44 ounces of thrust at 45 amps
APC 6x4E: 42 ounces of thrust at 46 amps
APC 6x5.5E: 38 ounces of thrust at 52 amps. Avoid constant wide open throttle
APC 5.5x4.5E: 34 ounces of thrust at 42 amps
EMP 5x5E: 30 ounces of thrust at 39 amps.
The above data is a result of our own testing using a fully charged EZ Flight 11.1v 2600 35C Lipo battery. Thrust and amp draw may be less with the use of batteries rated at lower amp output, and slightly more using batteries rated for higher amp output.
Propeller test data when using a 4-cell Lipo battery:
EMP 4.5x4.5E: 41 ounces of thrust at 50 amps. Avoid constant wide open throttle
APC 4.5x4.1E: 38 ounces of thrust at 44 amps.
The above data is a result of our own testing using a fully charged Power Up 14.8v 2600 25C Lipo battery. Thrust and amp draw may be less with the use of batteries rated at lower amp output, and slightly more using batteries rated for higher amp output.
