The CellDiag 6.5 is a highly accurate digital battery meter that quickly shows you the state of charge of your Lipo batteries. It displays all the individual cell voltages of up to 6 cell Lipo battery packs, and with the press of a button, you can see the cell voltages displayed as a bar chart to determine the percent of battery power remaining. Another button allows you to turn on the backlit display to see the voltage readings under poor lighting conditions. To use this meter, simply insert the prongs of the meter into the balance plug of you Lipo battery. All cell voltages are instantly displayed, along with the total voltage of the battery pack. This meter can be used on up to 6 cell Lipo battery packs, as long as the battery has the JST/XH balance plug.
Please read the 'Specifications' section below to see which brand of Lipos are compatible with this Lipo Battery Tester. There's no need to worry about plugging in a Lipo battery incorrectly. This Tester has reverse polarity protection built in, so you can't hurt it by plugging in 'wrong'.
Another feature of the CELLDIAG 6.5 is the ability to record the lowest battery voltage reached during a flight. This allows you to see just how low the battery voltage is dropping under load, and also helps you to determine if the Low Voltage Cut-off (LVC) of your ESC is functioning as it should.
Remember, a fully charged Lipo cell is about 4.20 volts, and Lipo cells should not be charged higher than 4.25 volts, or allowed to drop below 3.0 volts.
