This motor mount is designed as a replacement for the stock plastic mount on the Parkzone T-28, F4U Corsair, and Stinson Reliant SR-10. The following motors work with this mount, and require no modifications to the cowl:
-- Emax BL2820/07 (also fits the stock plastic mount)
-- Power Up 15 Sport
-- Parkzone Stock 480B
Power system suggestions for T-28 and Corsair: -- The Power Up 15 Sport is a nice upgrade motor for these models. This motor comes with 3.5mm connectors installed, and can be used with the stock 30A ESC, stock 9.5 x 9.75 prop, and stock 11.1v 1800 Lipo battery. This set up provides very nice performance, and is the easiest upgrade, requiring no modifications, except that this aluminum mount must be used. For higher performance, we recommend using the APC 11 x 7E prop, HURC 40A ESC, and 11.1v 2200 35C battery. This provides a big increase in performance over the stock power system. The Power Up 15 Sport is heavier than the stock motor, so the model will be a little nose heavy. You can choose to slide the battery rearward about 1 inch if you wish to have the center of gravity the same as with the stock power system. You will need to remove some foam from the bottom of the canopy/battery hatch to accomplish this. We recommend using self adhesive velcro to keep the battery from sliding during flight. -- The Emax BL2820/07 is also a good upgrade motor for these models. This motor fits the stock plastic mount, so the aluminum mount is not needed, unless the plastic mount is broken. This motor comes with 4mm male connectors installed (female connectors also included), so it is necessary to solder new connectors on the stock ESC if you wish to use it. The stock prop and battery provide moderate performance with this motor. For high performance, we recommend using the Emax Budget 50A ESC, APC 11x8.5E prop, and 11.1v 2200 35C battery. This provides a big increase in performance over the stock power system. The battery needs to be positioned about 2 inches rearward from the normal position, to obtain the correct center of gravity.

Instructions for Installation:
1. Install the motor on the aluminum mount using the 3mm screws provided with the mount. Ensure that the collar on the motor is centered in the clearance hole in the motor mount before tightening the screws. We recommend the use of medium threadlock on all motor mount screws, then tighten securely. Once the motor is secured to the mount, spin the motor to make sure that there are no interferences.
2. Install the mount on the model using the 4, M3-.5 X 8 fasteners. CAUTION: You are installing fasteners into plastic. Do not over tighten the fasteners.
3. Route the motor wires through the firewall and connect to ESC. Check for proper motor rotation.
4. Install the cowl and check for interferences.
5. Install the prop adapter and prop and you are all set!
6. As with any change to your plane, before flying ensure that the center of gravity is correct!
